Essential oils
Essential oils are natural oils that are extracted from various plants. They are intensely fragrant and have many uses in aromatherapy, cosmetics and medicine.
Essential oils can be extracted from different parts of plants, such as leaves, flowers, roots, seeds, fruits or trees. Depending on the plant from which they are extracted, essential oils have different properties and scents.
Essential oils used in aromatherapy are used to bring harmony and balance to the body and mind. They can help relieve symptoms of stress and tension, improve concentration and strengthen the immune system. In cosmetics, they are used to make natural cosmetics and for skin and hair care.
Essential oils also have many uses in medicine, where their antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, antiviral and analgesic properties are exploited. Among other uses, essential oils are used in inhalers, baths, massages and for topical application.
It is important to use essential oils in moderation and according to the manufacturer's instructions, as they can be very concentrated and can cause allergic reactions or other side effects if used improperly. Consult your doctor before using essential oils, especially if you have any medical conditions or are pregnant.
